SCOUTER Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 TBIRD... Did you say "Stitch free?" It looks like stitching around the base? Nice holster and very nice finish... Quote
TomSwede Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 I agree with others, nice finish. Love the colour choice, I'm having somewhat of a black n red period right now in the bracer field. Really fun to work with as with black n white but the red just looks better to me but it's all about contrast (to me anyways). As Scouter pointed out it looks like a seem around it but I guess it's a decorative groove around the edge and the rivets is holding it together. Tom Quote
Members Temporary Posted March 6, 2008 Members Report Posted March 6, 2008 Looks good, but I would consider covering the trigger more, else just toss the gun in your pocket and call it good. Quote
Members Srigs Posted March 6, 2008 Members Report Posted March 6, 2008 Nice pocket holster. I like the detailing. Quote

Yep-- the design was for a pocket holster-- I wanted to use this as an experiment to see how to make a patter, color the leather etc. I really want to make a nice pancake holster for a Ruger SP101-- anyone have any patterns or links to share ? I'll post more stuff soon-- I'm really just getting started in all of this. ps. not stiching- just kinda made it look like that. Tbird Edited March 6, 2008 by tbird911 Quote
