(although I did do some tooling and lacing in the boy scouts years and years ago, made a belt and knife sheath) I work at an upholstery shop and most of our work is auto or boat, but every once in a while we get other custom jobs. Did a custom bike seat, that got some other bikers in the shop. Had some inquiries for tooled leather and exotic inserts etc. This seems like a great site and i want to learn more about working with skins.
