CedarCreek Report post Posted April 10, 2009 I posted these in the holster section but I thought I would stick them here too, just to get a little more exposure. Let me know what you think. Just finished them yesterday. Thanks
Wolfgang Report post Posted April 10, 2009 CC Those are beautiful the deep color and contrasting stitching. One day I may get close to that. Stay Safe Wolf
kevinhopkins Report post Posted April 10, 2009 Very nice work! I saw a guy make a similar rig with a 1/2 inch strip of 8-9 oz leather sewn underneath the cartridge loops to keep the cartridges from going too far down in the loops. I thought that was a good idea.... Kevin
badger Report post Posted April 10, 2009 Interesting. Did you design the holsters and belt yourself? Cheers, Badger
CedarCreek Report post Posted April 10, 2009 Interesting.Did you design the holsters and belt yourself? Cheers, Badger Yes I built the belt and holsters start to end. I almost aways start with a blank sheet of paper, so rarely do I end up with two identical rigs. The double mexican loop cheyanne style has been around since the cowboy so I can't take credit for that. I try to interject my personal touches and building tecniques as much as possible, but when building period peices you can't get to crazy. CC
