Tina...here's your answer,

...I use dyes that I had made in Australia in '92...these are highlyconcentrated and are pure in color. I also use Fiebings Oil Dyes for overall coloring of large projects...I do not use water based dyes or acrylic paint, with the exception of diluted white now and then.

Thanks a load Marlon and Peter:-)

If I can not find Angelus in Europe (Angelus is looking for a retailer over there but has not found one the last I heard, 3-4 weeks ago), I was hoping there would be something good enough I could search for and hopefully find in Europe.

May I ask a question and feel free to ignore it. Is there some reason Peter doesn't post here? I am buying his books on coloring leather and in the course of correspondence I mentioned this forum. He didn't reply concerning my invitation to post here. I sense that there is some kind of tension there and I don't want to bring up any worms but am curious.

Thanks again Marlon for bringing us more examples of Peter's great work.

...of course you may ask John, you are not to be ignored. There is no reason for me not to post here...am sorry that I did not respond to your invitation. There certainly is no tension here, or there. I thank my friend Marlon for passing on things that I send to him,

John,

As you can see, Peter sneaks in from time to time. Peter posts in the iilg list quite often and it's easier to post it there with the email format and he can send it to multiple lists at once. I asked if I could post some of his work here for the benefit of those that are not part of iilg....That's kind of how this whole thing got started.

He doesn't frequent as much as I do, so it's usually quicker for me to ask him a question for everyone, than for him to stumble up on it.

....and You're welcome Peter.

Marlon
