I am working on a new seat for bike this is my first time to use leather and could use all the help that I can get. I got my first leather kit today. :helpsmilie:

Hi and welcome Honda!

I haven't made a seat..yet but I think you'll find that leather is a fun material to work but it can also be quite challenging.

How is your finished seat going to look, are you gonna try with carving and tooling patterns to it. Classic solo seat or a 2 seater, softer chrome tanned leather or vegetable tanned leather, stitched or braided with lace??

There are some really nice experts on the seat field here so you should be able to get some help and guidance throughout your project.

I had my first leather class today at the shop that I bouth my leather at as to the seat thire are 2 that I like first is the solo- then is the 2-seater thire will be a lot of carving to it and tooling -laceing .
