I've made half a dozen of these so far but only have pictures for these three. The original is the one with a cross on it. The customer didn't want a belt loop or any way to secure it to her pants. And so far none of the other customers have either, despite my recommendation otherwise. They just want something to keep the phone from being scratched/damaged. I want to start doing snaps but have no clue how to do them. So here's the pictures. I'd like some critique/constructive criticism on these.

hi red,

i like the shape of your cases.

most of the ladies i know don't wear their phones. it either goes in their purse or they carry it in their hand, so i can understand her not wanting a loop. maybe you can make some with loops and some without.

when i looked at your pictures the first think i noticed was how shiny your lace was compared to the cases. what kind of lace are you using? and what kind of finish are you using on the leather?

if they were mine, i would try to bring the shine of the leather up a little to match the shine of the lacing, and i would consider burnishing the exposed edges of the leather.

to help with your lacing, i would suggest getting one of the good books available. there's a nice way to keep your lace ends out of sight.

hope some of that was helpful,

ken
