My only question, it's not really meant to be for concealed carry right? ....with the strap crossing in front like it does...

Could you take some pictures of the back side and describe the attachement/quick release?

I just built a standard tanker holster for myself and it is a great style for a horseback/field holster.

Ok so the main reason for this design is so the holster can be removed from the harness, there are four snaps that attach two pieces of 11 oz leather together on one side, stitched on the other, this piece is hardened and formed and acts as the pivot point and station for connection. also the back side has a piece of 5-oz sewn and glued on to cover snaps.

Your workmanship is getting really good or you're covering your mistakes better or both. That's what we all learn to do donchano! I carried one of those for 25 yars and what I looked for was comfort and functionality. Mine was for concealment though. The best I wore counter balanced with two magazines on the opposite side and draped over each shoulder hanging under my arms.

This one looks comfortable with the shoulder pad but I question the strap around the back (I know it's a design necessity) for long periods of time. How easy is the weapon drawn and does the bottom strap have a tendency to tip the grip out? Look at your stress points and how they effect the wearer by trying it our your self (I know you did already).

I am honored and humbled by your comments and as the true friend you are you point out some shadie spots as for the strap in the back I thought it felt pretty nice the pivot point how ever I am looking in to I sold this unit and the customer was happy but I am not content not by a long shot so I will remeber your input as always,
