JeffGC Report post Posted June 4, 2009 Since CCW came to Missouri, I discovered how difficult is is to carry all of this stuff in my trouser pockets (mobile phone, keys, cash, pistol, knife, etc.). Some months ago, I came up with the idea to create a pocket holster that would also hold a knife. I've made a number of these for the Ruger LCP (pictured) and the Kel-Tec P3-AT. The knife pocket can hold the spring clip of most folders. I'm a big fan of the SOG Flash 1 (pictured).

LarryDonaldson Report post Posted June 5, 2009 I just received a Cobra 3000 and plan to make some holsters. My wife and I both have LCP's also. What weight leather did you use on your holsters? Would you mind sharing your patterns on these? By the way they look nice. Being a beginner I have a lot of learning and practice ahead of me.

JeffGC Report post Posted June 6, 2009 Larry - The front is 7-8 oz. and the back is 4-5 oz. Also, there is a small piece of leather sewn to the top of the back side, at the edge of the mouth of the holster (image attached). When drawing the pistol from the holster, one's thumb presses against this tab to push the holster down. Both the front and back use the same pattern. I cut the knife clip radius using a 3/4" punch. Please PM your email and I'll send you a PDF of the pattern.
