Members NoahL Posted June 11, 2009 Members Report Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) That's pretty neat--I definitely like the Spartan helmet. I have to say, though, I would think the phrase "molon labe" would look cooler in Greek (as in with the Greek alphabet, since the phrase is Greek in and of itself ), but it all looks good to me Edited June 11, 2009 by NoahL Quote Website: Wasteland Leatherwork Collaboration Projects: The Wasteland Crow Project

Members NoahL Posted June 12, 2009 Members Report Posted June 12, 2009 i agree with the greek lettering. but i didn't know where to find any I don't know where you would get stamps for it, but you could definitely tool it--I'm worthless when it comes to tooling, but I would think you could just "write" the letters with a swivel knife and open them up with a stylus. As for a reference--that very phrase is written in the Greek alphabet if you search for "molon labe" on Wikipedia. Members troop Posted June 22, 2009 Author Members Report Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) thanks for the comments everyone. and thanks for the greek letters Lobo. i have applied the backing piece and snaps. i placed two t-nuts in the back between the backing and holster to support the paddle i will be making for it. i plan on running a strip of kydex in between two pieces of leather for the paddle. was wondering if anyone has a better suggestion or another way of making the paddle.
