Members wayner123 Posted June 12, 2009 Members Report Posted June 12, 2009 Hello all, I am looking for different ways of getting the flap of my pouch to stay closed. I know I could use velcro, but I want to try something else. The bag magnetic clasps are also an option, but I think they might scrape the cigar cutter as it goes in. Anyone have experience with those bag magnetic clasps? I also want it to slide in an out of the pocket easily so a strap around it, would make it too bulky. Any ideas or discussion on my previous thoughts is greatly appreciated. Here's what I have so far: Quote
Aart Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Hi, Understand that the pouch should remain kind of 'fluffy' in your pocket Why not taper down the sides of the flap and have a small strap of let's say 15 or 18 mm wide on the front side. You can then slide the flap under it and presto. Maybe flap should be a bit longer though On the magnetic claps on can always cover the back side of the receiving part on the inside of you pouche with thin leather Bset Aart. Quote
