michaelbeeman Report post Posted July 10, 2009 Hello all! I've just joined yesterday after lurking for a whole 30 minutes! Relative newcomer to leather working, as my only experience is a billfold I did back in Cub Scouts, some 35 yrs ago! I've picked up the Tandy Deluxe starter kit and am raring to go! I'll post projects as I do them (depending on the availability of a camera) so ya'll can critique them. My main interest is in Cordwaining, though I want to learn other aspects of leather work as well. Stylistically, I lean more towards Celtic, rather than floral or western, but I surely am impressed with ALL the work I see here. Ya'll are an inspiration. Keep it up! KcKenny Report post Posted July 10, 2009 From one newbie to another, welcome! I see you're in Ft. Collins. Beautiful country up there, had a girlfriend move there a while back and I'd go visit a few times a year. It should provide you with plenty of inspiration for your work. ~Kenny
