After I carved and tooled the design, I used green leather dye from Tandy and lightened it with some water. I did it in layers until I got the green I wanted. Then I did the thin strip that I cut and beveled around the outer edge of the outer knot with Gold leather paint from Tandy. I also did a Gold wash (Gold paint and a bit of water) on the inner knot. When that was dry coated my colored areas with Super Sheen then coated the whole thing with Mahogany antique and rubbed it off, especially where it was painted previously. Then I touched up any areas that needed touch up and coated the whole thing with Super sheen.

I enjoyed doing it! I have more wallets I will be posting when they are finished.
