Members Anastatia Posted January 11, 2019 Members Report Posted January 11, 2019 I also just purchased a Singer 111w155. I need to get a servo motor and speed reducer. When looking around on Google, it’s confusing. I see some sold as packages or sets and some individual as well as several brands for each . Is one brand of Servo motor better than the other? What about the speed reducer? My plan is to sew leather briefcase’s and handbags. Thanks for all of your “ 2 Cents!” Quote

I order them from this seller refitted with a smaller than standard 2" pulley. They also sell speed reducers that slow the machines down another 2:1 or 3:1. If you install a 3:1 reducer you won't be able to speed up much on straightaways.
