scooby Report post Posted July 20, 2009 I have been asked to tool a name. Not rocket science I'm sure but I have never tooled a thing in my life (bar embossing a makers stamp or two) Can anyone recommend me a simple font / style to try?
VanHornSaddlery Report post Posted August 1, 2009 Hello, I just recently tooled some letters up and if this is your first attempt I would suggest the arial black font. It is kind of blocky but you can go to the bold and make it even that much easier. I tried some different fonts in my latest project and they were a bit more of a challeng. I'll post a picture, they aren't perfect by any means but might give you an idea. Jake vanhornsaddlery.com

I hope that thing wasn't like 15"x15"? have you thought about buying a set of Tandy alphabet stamps? and then mat the background.just a thought. I agree, these are easy even a rocket scientist could use them.
