Barb Wire Bird

This was inspired by a young bird photographer from New South Wales. He is only 17 years old and already a photographic Audubon! Can't do skulls all of the time!!! :innocent:

When I used to live in Darwin up in the Northern Territory I carved beer and wine coolers and colored them. My big sellers were always local birds and parrots.

very cool! did that come from a pattern or an original sketch? and what about doing a skeleton/skull version on the same image? ;o)

I made the pattern from a sketch based on a photograph. Hmmmm Bird Skeleton!?!?! We shall see what we shall see! :whistle:

The bird looks good, but the work on the wire look great (that really does read odd, but I think you know what I mean). Nice attention to detail on the wire.
