Storm Report post Posted August 12, 2009 I like it. Now that you have it down pet it is time to create it out of hand tooled leather. I used to have a Morris Minor truck with a very similar cover on the back! You do good work!!!!
UKRay Report post Posted August 12, 2009 Nice looking work broncobuster. This kind of job does come up quite often so I'd be interested to know what you felt you learned from it and how you might do it differently next time. Are there any tips you could give to anyone doing something like this for the first time? What sort of canvas/zippers/thread did you use? What about leather re-enforcing on the corners where the canvas touches the frame? Cheers, Ray
Randy Cornelius Report post Posted August 12, 2009 I get the same stuff, I have a moto, "ANYTHING FOR A BUCK!" As long as it pays the bills and doesn't go against personal taste I will do it. Turned down the g-string for the male stripper though! Randy

broncobuster Report post Posted August 17, 2009 I posted before at least I thought I did in response to the responses lol but I guess it didnt go through. basically I just say measure twice and cut once lol. I spent 3 days on this thing making sure i had it fitted right n measured right. thats not full days I had customers and other projects I was doing also along with telephone calls etc... about the only thing I did wrong was face the opening of the pleats to the top instead of bottom. otherwise I tend to over build sometimes. customer liked it. its going to california and back so Ill find out if it survives the trip lol. there was grommets added after these pics and a rope through the bottom on all sides. so he can fasten down with bungees and rope. I do lot of different requests from this customer so I get variety
