Members BrandeisArcher Posted March 22, 2008 Members Report Posted March 22, 2008 I'm looking for the clasp that this was made with. I've seen them on older web pistol belts, however I need one that is significantly prettier. I'm making a red side quiver and belt for my girlfriend. Taking apart a belt for the buckle would be a last resort (Plus, a 2" belt is not ideal for a 22" waist...). Brass, nickel finish, whatever. I know I could just use a regular buckle, but we both rather like this style. Even if you can tell me what they're called, that would help tremendously. I just can't seem to find the right keywords to search with. Thanks for the help. James [note- Yes, I know. This is pleather. Please forgive me.] Quote
Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted March 22, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted March 22, 2008 Try Ohio Travel Bags, they do have a minimum purchase though. Ken Quote

Members Hoyden Posted March 22, 2008 Members Report Posted March 22, 2008 I've seen them somewhere where you can buy a few without a minimum order. I'm running out the door in 10 minutes, I'll post it when I get back. Quote
Members Kevin Posted March 22, 2008 Members Report Posted March 22, 2008 It is a surcingle buckle. You can get stamped or cast, chrome or brass. I think I get them from OTB, but I'm at home so not positive. Kevin Quote
Members BrandeisArcher Posted March 23, 2008 Author Members Report Posted March 23, 2008 Very cool, thanks for the help! Seattle Fabrics has the 1.5" cast ones, (http://www.seattlefabrics.com/metal.html), appears to be no minimum order. OTB has the 1" ones, though. Decisions, decisions... Thanks again! -James Quote
