I have been searching the web and other places but seem to come up with very little line drawings in the way of horse archers loike the mongols, turks etc. Does any body have something like this hidden away. I plan to use them on some horn topped quivers I have plans for.

One interesting thing I found in my search was the winged cavary of poland - yes they really had metal wings fixed to the backs of their armour.

Well, they're not line drawings, but there are some lovely drawings and photos on Google Images. If I want to use things like this, I print it out on printer's vellum and then go over the lines I want to use with a felt tip pen. Then you can either use the vellum to scribe your image (photocopy it or scan it before using if you want to use it again!) or trace it AGAIN onto tracing film... or whatever method you use. :-)

cheers for your replies tashabear and thorr - don't knew why I did not try 'all types' in google image but have ended up using one I already had. That website you supplied is good, never knew there was so many people doing fantasy armour - nice to know I'm not the only wacky leatherer out there!!!!

You might want to take a look at the website below.

Also, there's a website called The Armour Archive http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/ with truckloads of information about historic armour. While not very big on fantasy work, they've got a vast collective knowledge base about historic armour and can probably offer sources/resources for images of just about any kind you can imagine :Lighten:
