Members TimberWolf Posted September 3, 2009 Members Report Posted September 3, 2009 Johanna, Is this feature gone, or is it forthcoming in an update? I really miss being able to just click it to see what new topics are available since last visit. I haven't read many of any of the posts since the new site came online...just don't have the time to check every catagory. Please bring it back Thanks.\Tim Quote

Admin Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 Working on the "view new posts". In the meantime use "today's active content" above the members online today. the "view new content" isn't stable or linked properly to members' cookies yet.. Johanna Quote

gtwister09 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 I was reading about this upgrade and here's a work-around that has worked so far for me. Click on the View New Content and it will generally say...sorry. Click on it a second time and it will give you your new posts to view. Only one time it hasn't worked. Hope that helps. Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted September 4, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted September 4, 2009 I'm able to click it once and have it display all the new posts. (FF 3.5.2) Quote

gtwister09 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 A little clarification....it appears to be time sensitive (the length of time in between requesting new posts). Here's the reason that I state that from my observations. I have the same firefox version (3.5.2 )... For a day or two, I clicked on it every hour for several hours and it only took one click to bring them up. If I stay logged in for a long period of time...say over night then it requires 2 clicks. This morning it required two clicks after letting it sit all night. After that it only requires 1 click if I am regularly on it. Not sure the length of time between one and two clicks but it has worked for me. Regards, Ben Quote
