Members Storm Posted September 4, 2009 Members Report Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) Wild Rose case but the problem was I used super shene to block the flowers and the used and EcoFlo Antique. Instead of the flowers remaining the natural leather color they went yellow. Still it was not all that bad. Also I have been trying out Waterproof India Ink to do my background and it is going pretty well. Just brush it in like regular spirit black dye. Members Somawas Posted September 4, 2009 Members Report Posted September 4, 2009 How much super shene did you use? To get that level of resist, I've had to use 4 or 5 coats of Super Shene with Eco Flo gel antique. I get about that much resist using two coats of block out. Quote
carr52 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 I love it. What color ecoflo antique did you use? Tom Quote

I have also been experimenting with mixing the antique and or All In Ones with distilled water. They are water based and it can give you some variations in color tone. I have always found two coats of super shene to be enough to block. I think what I have here with the EcoFlo is an interaction with the the super shene. I have to try it with the All In Ones. This seems to be a new wrinkle as I never encountered this before. Quote Please keep in mind that unless I ask for anyones critique I do not want nor require same.
