I seen this on the forum, cant remember who posted it though. However,I love it. I would like to do my backrest with this type of braid. Any one know what type of braid its called or got any advice, Maybe a tutorial? Thanks

That's the steering wheel in my wife's truck i covered. I'm glad ya like it. The knot I used was a multi string knot. I think I used eight strings with each string being 1/8" wide. While there area a few ways to build this knot I think the one Bruce Grant shows in his book How to make cowboy horse gear is pretty easy to follow. It's on pg.35 and is called the nose button. I used the gaucho interweave but you could use the pineapple interweave or a combination of the two. I think Allen Bell has a tut. on building a bosal in the braiding section. I believe he shows a different method of building this knot.
