rcsaddles Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 I am not a holster maker but was able to come up with this for a guy I know. The gun belongs to his wife and she wanted a belt and shell holder too. Quote
Lobo Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Very nice job. I've had a few inquiries about holsters for the Taurus Judge, but no orders yet. It appears to be a handgun that will require some thought in designing a holster. Quote
Members BOOMSTICKHolsters Posted October 6, 2009 Members Report Posted October 6, 2009 Pretty slick, I think. That's a fairly complicated revolver to make a holster for, and you did a commendable job. Quote
rcsaddles Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Posted October 7, 2009 Thank you. I appreciate your input. The next one is for a 3 inch barrell and will be a paddle holster. Just trying to figure the thumbbreak on it now. Will be a couple of weeks before I get much of a chance to work on it. I will post pictures when it is done. Quote
Members dickf Posted October 7, 2009 Members Report Posted October 7, 2009 I'm currently building 2 for a Judge right now. Any tips on this one in particular? The cylinder on these things is huge! Quote
Members DCKNIVES Posted October 7, 2009 Members Report Posted October 7, 2009 Nice looking holster.I just did one for the Judge as well, and we had the same thoughts in design.I will post mine. Dick, main thing is just to make it wider towards the bottom of the holster, and it's a very thick gun as well.Dave Quote
