xlr8tn Report post Posted October 10, 2009 Hello All, I was wondering if there is a leather expo or market where you can meet vendors and find the ones that have the products you need. As a watch strap maker, it is pretty difficult to determine which products to buy over the internet. If you all have heard of something, let me know. I'd like to attend one soon. -Brent
hidepounder Report post Posted October 10, 2009 There are several shows every year. If you watch the calendar here on LW they will be listed as soon as they are announced. Wickenburg, AZ., Sheridan, WY., and Elko, NV are all in the spring and early summer. The IFoLG show and Wichita Falls, TX., were both last month. Those are just the shows I'm aware of....I'm sure there are several more. Hope this helps... Bobby
xlr8tn Report post Posted October 10, 2009 Thanks Bobby, Now are these shows mostly for saddle makers and carving leather or do actual Leather suppliers show up as well? -Brent

kevinhopkins Report post Posted October 16, 2009 Where is the closest show to Maine? Is there any shows close to the northeast? Thank You. Hi... You can contact a guy named Pete who works in new york. Great guy, and knows where every single thing in the world that has to with leather is happening. Email me, and I'll give you his number. I'd post it, but I'm at home, and don't have it with me. Kevin@springfieldleather.com (you might need to remind me who's number you're needing.... I answer a ton of emails) Kevin
