Just bought a stingray skin; looks cool and very durable. My question is; what is the most effective method for inlaying this into a project (knife sheath/holster)?

Mainly hand-stitching leather projects at this time, drilling or punching holes in my leather.

Please advise.

Stingray is some neat stuff.I use quite alot of it.The hardest thing about IMO is cutting it, as it is very tough. In my case I found scissors and my bandsaw worked best.It will inlay like any other skin.Under "Knife Info" on my website is a tutorial on doing inlays.Dave

Here is my first attempt working with stingray. This is what I've done so far, it is the front portion of a boot knife sheath, decided not to use the white part of the skin as I did feel it went with the design (curvature) of the sheath itself.
