Members wildrose Posted October 20, 2009 Members Report Posted October 20, 2009 I'm thankful for the suggestions I got on making this. It didn't quite go as planned, but I'm pleased overall with the result, and it was a learning experience - which is a good thing! (I'd had to move the buckle from its original position, which is where there is a slot on the back; and I made an error in the layout of the gems on the right hand side of the star) Quote

Members wildrose Posted October 20, 2009 Author Members Report Posted October 20, 2009 Yeah, Spence, it pretty much screams Elvis to me The stain is Eco Flo. Initially, I was shooting for a light blue. The customer had wanted white, but I talked her out of it. I started off with Hi-lite sky blue, but didn't care for it, so applied All-in-One mariner blue. After everything dried, I applied a liberal coat of Aussie Wax before setting the spots and rivets. I use Tandy for all my supplies. Quote
