rickeyfro Report post Posted October 23, 2009 (edited) Cool seat Ricky! I really like the color! Thanks Troy, not sure I could duplicate it though, the color that is, the strips I intentionaly did different, just did a few then dumped in some different color, did a few more, mixed in something else, a few more and so on. The rest of the seat I started with some angelus spice, weasnt happy with the way it looked with the strips so went over it with Fiebings medium brown, still didnt like it so misted some fiebings dark over that. But I tell ya what, this leather is Zack Whites Premium Bull Shoulder and both times Ive used it Ive been super impressed with the way it dyes, it makes whatever color Im using look different then it ever has Edited October 23, 2009 by rickeyfro

Im saving for a machine but with a daughter in college thats kinda difficult Rick,,,my hat is off to you. That is some fine hand sticthing!!! That sort of thing makes each of your pieces even more unique and one of a kind. I know what you mean though. My youngest son is in college and money is scarce. I have been shopping around and I still haven't found a machine that can lay down as fine a stitch as I want, Always wanted to find a good Landis. Yup! That and hen's teeth! LOL!
