no leather xmas presents

Recommended Posts

monday i had my 2nd shoulder(left one) surgery, the first one was in august. the nerve block is starting to wear off and the pain setting in. just beginning to regret having it done, and felt the need to talk to someone, can't sleep. right before leaving for the hospital i finished my first knife sheath a tandy kit. i wanted to build it to figure out how to design my own. they showed it stitched but i thought lacing looked better. i got lots of ideas from it. was told 3 months for full use of my arm, oh well now i gotta buy gifts for xmas. this forum is the best i've run across and spend alot of time reading old posts. a thanks goes out to everyone for sharing their knowledge and experience.

Very pretty, you made a tandy kit look worthwhile. I really like the lacing too.

Take care and get well soon.

looks good. The creative side pays off instead of just reading directions.

You mind will be full of ideas as you recover. Don't forget to write some of them down.

recover fast and get started making more peices like this sheath.

GOOD JOB

GOOD LUCK, Your story sounds almost Identical to mine. I had my first shoulder surgeryon august 26 2008 and the second one on Febuary 20 2009. For what its worth they tell me I am now at Maximum mediacal improvement and I still cant hardly get my wallet out of my pocket or scratch the back of my head. I feel your pain both mentally and physically and I hope you have a better experience than I had.
