Hello, Just starting out. I found myself in Tandy Nov1. buy 185.00 worth of stuff to make a iPhone tank panel for my harley I think it turned our pretty good for just slaping it together. I made others for friend over the past few weeks. By Nov 25. I was back at Tandy buying the basic seven tooling kit. Over the weekend I tooled 4 (3X3") tattoo style designs and you can definatly tell i'm improving. So another exited newbe here, Maybe with a little more prctice I may start hacking on a extra seat I have laying around. Till next time.

PS How do most of you offset the expence. Ther eare so many tools and leather isnt cheap.

Hi from Cleburne. Everything you posted is looking good, keep it up, Conrad. I would suggest that for practice you should go through the remnant bins at Tandy and Hidecrafter, you can get some pretty decent practice size pieces for next to nothing. Last time I went to Hidecrafter I got a bag of scraps that yielded enough good pieces to make 2 cell phone cases and a zippo case that I'm currently working on when work lets me have the time.

Take care
