I've been using it for more than 10 yrs now with no problems. It's nice 'cuz you can turn it around however you want it. I got a lefty stitching palm from Hidecrafters a while back too. Quote

The only thing you really need to do is transfer the markings by hand so that you can read them. Being and old leftie, I have used the wooden strap cutter for years successfully except when I wanted to strip very heavy leathers. As I have grown older, I have forced myself to learn to use tools made for the "other" people. I now use a standard draw gauge right handed and, with a little practice I now have no problems using it. At one time I looked at getting some handles cast with the offset made for lefties but it was going to be an expensive undertaking. Just practice with a draw gauge and you will get the hang of it. One secret: KEEP THE BLADE RAZOR SHARP. It makes it a lot easier. Good luck. Quote
