I'll kick it off here. My Christmas Eve present I chose to open came from my pal, critic, and art advisor - Harvey Lutske. Harve came through with a western DVD, but the real treat to be used and cherished is a Bearman maul. I already stepped out and gave her a run down a strip of scrap. Oh Yeah, Ed makes them well. They are a beautiful piece of work, well balanced, and did I mention beautiful? Thanks Harvey and Ed!!

My mom was in town and took me to Tandy just before Christmas, paid for my membership for the year and bought me the maxi and mini punch set. She also threw in a belt for herself, cheeky bag. LOL thats ok she will have to wait until I'm done filling orders, march is her birthday anyway.

Well once again, Candace went crazy. She got me a portable air compressor( I'll be able to use it on the air/hydraulic jack for my homemade clicker press) and a 12" wood lathe. I've already built a replacement handle for my crank skiver and a replacement handle for my dad's Pearson stitcher. Her parents bought me a big 4 drawer/1 door rolling tool cabinet with butcher block top. I instantly turned that into my lathe/drill press station on top and filled the cabinet with other power tools and the drawers with wrenches, screwdrivers, drillbits...that were all laying on shelves in the shop. Hope everyone else had a great holiday!!

Well, Montana (Our boston terrier) got mom a new Osborn Peg Awl Haft & jerk needle for Christmas. She was very very sorry she took the old one off the table next to my chair and chewed the handle up. LOL

I recieved the "Gomph-Hackbarth set of 15 basic stamps" for Christmas. It is my first set of professional tools and I was very excited. I would have taken a mugshot but someone seemed to think they needed my wifes digital camera more than we did.

My wife and I spoiled the kids mostly, but Santa brought her and I 16g Ipod Touch's. I upload all of my music and leather video, so now during my work breaking I can keep up on my techniques. I also receivded the final book on Figure Carving by Stohlman and Peter Main's second book on Stohlman's favorite patterns.

No pictures but my wife bought me the whole set of Chan Geer Pattarn packs. Belts, Wallets, picture frames, clocks, book covers.

Boy if I want to do all of these I will be busy for a while. Already started on a bible cover using some of these patterns.

Tim Kleffner ask me why I started with the hardest one first. Well the way I see it if I can get this one out it will be all down hill

from there. I'm gonna have fun with these.
