Ian Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Dropped this one off today - basketweave courtesy of Bruce's excellent tutorial Quote
TomSwede Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Those are slick! The finish looks great and by telling from the the glare on the top flap you got some really nice edges there. I think edges are troublesome. I like the way the basketpieces are sewn on. That tutorial seem to work fine. Tom Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted April 4, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted April 4, 2008 That is one slick looking bag. I like the BW part too, especially continued down the billet. How is goint to be attached? Quote
Ian Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Posted April 4, 2008 Thanks Tom and Dave, Tom, I love good edges - a bit of my harness making history. Even a plain old strap looks like a finished product with a good edge on it. Dave, The bag is attached to the frame with 2 straps on top and one on the bottom (PS, how's your set af bags coming? - you KNOW I'll be expecting pictures) Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted April 4, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted April 4, 2008 Geez...pushy, pushy...lol . Well, I've got the pattern worked out. Going to probably start cutting over the weekend. She wants rubber back, or something like that. I've got samples coming in the mail, after that it's sewing time. Nevermind me! That bag deserves a lot more attention..shape is cool, bw is looking good, and the color is exactly the brown I like. When's your saddlebag tutorial coming on line. There's a few eyeballs, I'm sure, that would love to see that! Quote
Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted April 4, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted April 4, 2008 Great looking bag Tan, and the color is real nice. I'm waiting patiently also for the tutorial as well. Ken Quote

I'll throw them up for better or worse when I get home later on this evening. Quote
