Might anyone know of a non-clogging super glue (Cyanoacrylate)?

I'd like to get some super glue that I can use till the end instead of just a few weeks before the dropper end dries up. Might there be a special nonclogging container/dispenser I can use to transfer the three 1/2 to 3/4 full bottles I currently have on hand?

Thanks.

Ed, this is probably going to be no help at all, since I deal with superglue in very small quantities. However, I've found that superglue hardens and clogs when stored and used in plastic containers. I switched at some point to buying superglue in small metal squeeze tubes (like the tubes Barge cement comes in) and it lasts much longer. The tubes are very, very small though... Maybe two inches long. Again, probably no help, but something to consider, I guess. Good luck in your search!

Luthier supplies are a good source for superglue things.

the glue: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Glues,_adhesives.html

the accessories, like pipettes and applicators: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Glues,_adhesives/Supplies:_Applicators,_syringes.html

the pipettes are good, cause you fill them up with a little, and keep the jar closed, just using the pipette for applications...

...just another tip from your Uncle Dave...

Thanks for the good suggestions. I get Krazy glue for a great price. Now I'd like to transfer it to a better container. Maybe an amber tinted medicine bottle with thin glass rod would be an idea: U.S. Plastics.

stewmac.com seems to be a good source. Another option is Locktite's super glue. From what I've read, the Locktite bottle allows a usage window of at least 12 months.

Ed,

I use a ton of cyanoacrylates. store your used bottles upside down. if the cap is secure, it wont leak. Just wipe the outside before you cap it. Also, don't forget to store your un-opened bottles in the refrigerator.
