Members pucci Posted January 16, 2010 Members Report Posted January 16, 2010 Hello Everyone, I am a new member and this is my first posting on the forum. I have been doing leathercraft for many years. Most all of my projects have been for gifts to family and friends. Looking at all the incredible work and the entusiasm on the forum has been very inspiring. The Tote Bag posted was a gift to my wife for Christmas. The carving on the front of the bag is a slightly modified James Jackson design I first saw in the Leathercrafters and Saddlers Journal a few years ago. The carving on the back is a modified Chester Hape design. I look forward to posting more when I can. Thank you for your comments. Happy Tooling, Pucci Quote

Members Storm Posted January 16, 2010 Members Report Posted January 16, 2010 Welcome Pucci, I'm thinking that Pucci is the new western Gucci! If that tote didn't make your wife jump for joy nothing would. Very nice piece of construction and the carving is very tight! For myself, I am looking forward to your next project. Members Danielle Posted January 18, 2010 Members Report Posted January 18, 2010 I like it a lot. Good tooling and I like the handles as well. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted January 18, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted January 18, 2010 Very nice work, looking forward to your future projects I like the handles, too. Actually, I like the color and stitching, but especially the handles. Somebody STILL owes me one, though ... now my wife wants one like that - - ... only with a different flower...and with a fully-enclosed flap ... and it can't be heavy... wow -- thanks alot Quote
