Members Shorts Posted April 6, 2008 Members Report Posted April 6, 2008 It looks pretty good When you made the pattern, how much room did you allot for the fold over side (edge against the slide)? Quote
Members Srigs Posted April 6, 2008 Members Report Posted April 6, 2008 Looks good. How does it work and carry? Quote
Members johnny7 Posted April 7, 2008 Author Members Report Posted April 7, 2008 Thanks for the compliments and I know I have a long way to go. Shorts, Not really sure what you are looking for but here is how I did it (be it right or wrong). Made pattern out of craft paper. Cut leather with about an extra 1 inch on the sides and on the bottom. Then wet formed it around the gun. Just used little clamps to hold it on the stitch side and shoved my gun in between the leather. After I could see where the gun would rest in the holster I scribed a light line where I would stitch it. Then I handstitched it and the put the gun back in it and reformed it. Then cut off what leather I did not need. Make sure you sew the support that holds the straps on before you fit it to the gun. Srigs, It holds the gun great and the gun is easy to get it in and out. I am very pleased with it. Johnny Quote
