Moderator bruce johnson Posted January 25, 2010 Moderator Report Posted January 25, 2010 I just finished this belt up for my son. It is a hair-on hide inlay. The basket is one that Barry King made up for me with my son's brand on it. Members wvcraftsman Posted January 25, 2010 Members Report Posted January 25, 2010 WOW. Nice belt. How did you inlay the hair-on hide? This is turning into quite the expensieve hobby with all the new different tools I HAVE to buy. Quote Tom Leatherworking Neophyte
hidepounder Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 That's a beautiful belt, Bruce! I have always liked hair-on inlays...they just always seem to look good! The custom basket is great. Did you have Barry mark it so that you always get the orientation correct? I would be gettting it mixed up and stamped upside down, LOL! Anyway it looks great! Bobby Quote
TimKleffner Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Bruce I really like that hair on inlay. That inlay always give it such an elegant look. Thanks for the pics Happy tooling Tim Quote It's hard to fail, but worse never to have tried to succeed.Theodore Roosevelt
