Members RobDude30 Posted February 1, 2010 Members Report Posted February 1, 2010 I just made a gun belt and the first time I tried it on it developed wrinkles in the tongue end. Is there something I can do about this? Is there a process to prevent or minimize the effects? Thanks! Rob Quote
TimKleffner Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 Rob what part of the side did you cut the tongue? If you've got wrinkles in it, you may have cut it out of the wrong piece of leather. Sounds like you got a piece of stretchy flanky belly. for next time, cut it farther up on the back. If you use thinner leather and make a lined belt and sew it you won't tend to have that kind of problem. Hope this works Happy tooling Tim Quote
