wildrose Report post Posted February 2, 2010 Beautiful! My only suggestion, and it's for the inside, is to gouge fold lines where the spine is, so it folds better. Don't know if you did, so am just mentioning it.
TimKleffner Report post Posted February 3, 2010 Mark Nice work. Glad to you you've got it goin'. I agree with Rose, depending on the weight of leather , you may want to cut gouges at the spine folds / bends. Keep in touch Tim
Hawgman Report post Posted February 3, 2010 10-4 on gouging the inside of the cover for the fold. Just haven't got to that point yet. Tim I will do it just like you showed me the other day. Should start working on the back of the cover tonight or tomorrow night. Rose thanks for the comments I can use all the suggestions you have to offer. JLSleather Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Not even a suggestion, just thinking out loud, really ... Your shading looks good, nice even flow from deep to nothing ... when you do that, I think it blends and keeps the overall design flow when your background fades the same way. In the end, though, this looks good - and the boss has already approved it
