grammyd Report post Posted February 13, 2010 Hello, I found this site a couple of weeks ago and have become addicted. Enjoy all work I have seen on here. I have been doing leather for about 2 years now. My mother did leather and I watched her as a child. She would only let me lace. Very protective of her tools. She can't do leather anymore and has given me her tools which I cherish and am greatfull for. I believe watching her helped put the bug in me when I found around 30 stamps at an antique fair for $25.00. Just couldn't pass it up and now just can't leave the craft alone. abn Report post Posted February 15, 2010 Welcome, Doris. It's great to have you here. What a pleasure it must be to use vintage tools to create your leatherwork -- especially tools that belonged to your mother.
