Members rodeomic Posted March 11, 2010 Members Report Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) Hello from Colorado. New to this site. Looks and sounds like a great group. I've been killing leather for quite sometime, but have learned the more I think I know, the less I really know!!! So, with that said, I am looking for tips and ideas on the scalloped design on straps, spur straps, etc. There apparently aren't commercial tools for this. I made my own by cutting down a regular round hole punch. Happy Trails. Edited March 11, 2010 by rodeomic Quote

Thanks Doc. They're nothing fancy, but they work--and I will post some pic's. Wasn't sure if I should. Didn't want to come across as the blabbly mouthed new kid on the block!! Quote
Timbo Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Welcome to the forum from another Coloradoan. Don't be bashful just jump in with both feet. As far as scallop tools most everybody I know has made there own. Made 'em the same way as you. And by the way....the perfect reuben sandwich is in Pueblo West. It's not traditional but it sure is good!!! (and no it doesn't have green chile in it) ((about the only thing in this town that doesn't though)) Tim Quote
