Will try and get better pics later. Darcy Sorry you didn't make it... The outcome may have been different.!! Chuck Stormes judged this competition and it was great to have him go over the saddles with the individual entrants.

RWB Report post Posted March 15, 2010 Cool saddle, Andy. Like the strings and fork. Neat ideas. Did you rawhide the tree at all, or is it just straight varnished hardwood? Ross

D.A. Kabatoff Report post Posted March 15, 2010 Andy, thanks for the photos... sure wish I could have made it up to the show! Congratulations on your saddle as well as the Joe Marten award. For anyone who doesn't know, the Joe Marten award is given to someone who has been influential in the promotion and/or preservation of Cowboy / Western Heritage in the Province of BC... Andy was presented with the award at the Kamloops Cowboy festival this year. If you have any other photos from the show, i'd sure like to see them. Congratulations Ryan, love to see the saddle you had there as well. Darcy

gtwister09 Report post Posted March 19, 2010 Ryan, Thanks for the photos. It is a great looking saddle. Very nice job with the interwining meandering border and florals. Once again some great layout and designs with the mixing of these even down into the flow of the billets and the seat. Regards, Ben
