Members KnotHead Posted March 18, 2010 Members Report Posted March 18, 2010 A most interesting braid to say the least. This one was fun, but a bit tedious to braid. The start of the braid requires 4 individual strands. The end result is worth the work I think. It does produce a 4 bight top and bottom. To close the ends off at the end of your braid requires a little tolerance. The other 4 ends are just tucked under the rest of the braid to hide the ends, while the other 4 strings are tucked in a back braided fashion by following the pattern. I like this one but do not recommend it for those just starting out braiding. The start of the braid is a very clumsy mess if you don't know the braid that well. But after getting used to the braid and how it works, the braid tends to go real nice with just about anything you put it on. I enjoyed this one. I am making another dog leash from this braid. Quote
