Rhome Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Hello All, I'm looking for some easy open line 24 snaps. Is there such a beast ? If so where can I get them ? I've got this project going and I have tried the line 24 snaps from the "Leather Factory" and McMaster Carr but they seem to hard to open for what I'm working on. So any help would be appreciated. ~ Thanks ~ Rhome
Luke Hatley Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Hancocks Fabrics in Memphis has the Line 24 dot snaps.or check out the larger fabric shops in your area. they are not quite as strong as the Tandy ones, and they mount to thinner materials...

Trevor Report post Posted April 5, 2010 Hi there Rhome and others The word "line" comes from another word called ligne. It was used and still is around the world by button makers. It refers to the diameter of the button not the srength of the socket. There is a site called http://www.smartcart.com/scovill/catalog/ and here you will find what you want. The socket is called easy action. Not normal or tight. Carr (Australia) durables as we call them are good as well but not sure if they are available in the states. Would pay to check anyway. Good luck Trevor "Way Down Under"
