Anyone know where I can get hold of a SERVICE manual for a Mitsubishi LU 4400 BOB walking foot machine (single needle) ?

The "user handbook" that comes with the machine is about as much use as a chocolate awl.

This Highlead GC20618 series parts book is for a copy of the Mitsubishi LU2-4400-BOB;

Part numbers have changed, but the 'owners' manual section is a direct copy of the Mitsubishi book for your LU2-4400 / LU2-4420 series.

The Mitsubishi web site has service manuals. There is a parts book, and the LU2_4410-4430_Mechanical_Adjustments book. I've downloaded them myself.

Hi

The Highlead GC20618-1 manual should be a good match.

As Highlead also makes the Mitsubishi model at their factory, both sewing machines are very similar and most parts are identical.
