hivemind Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Here's a recent shot of me at a Dagorhir demo in the armor so far: And an action shot! I really gotta get the shoulders made, and revisit the tassets/war skirt thingy, I'm not happy with that at all. Probably need to remake the facemask of the helmet too. My unit's an undead unit, so a skull mask would be a lot more appropriate.
MissingLink Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Nice looking stuff there. Someday I will finish some of my projects and post some pics.
TomSwede Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Very good looking armor/suit!! I love black and red so offcourse partial to that. I Also like when designs are not overdone but rather done in a tasteful fashion and I see that here, just a few very good looking skull designs and elegant black and read. The helmet looks great with the plates going back over the head. A skullmask and shoulders will make nice additions. Tom

yan Report post Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) You're right about the shoulder, that's the first thing I tought about when I saw the picture. The rest is well balanced. Your mask is neat, is ''articulated'' (could it be raise between fight)? Edited April 10, 2010 by yan
hivemind Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Your mask is neat, is ''articulated'' (could it be raise between fight)? Yes, it's got two snaps, one to keep it down and another to keep it up.
Charke Report post Posted May 6, 2010 Yes, it's got two snaps, one to keep it down and another to keep it up. Ah thanks! I was just surfing around. I can't tell you how much your armor has inspired a lot of my recent work. I wanted to modify a helmet to articulate it but I was trying to figure out how to get it to stay open or shut. Snaps don't seem like a bad idea. Mark Charke
