Members vootzilla Posted May 11, 2010 Members Report Posted May 11, 2010 I'm wondering what kind of leather LV use for their strap. It's a natural color leather with certain level of stiffness. I'm sure it's not normal veg tan leather since the finishing is better (or they just use the veg tan and apply some specific oil on it?). I just think it's attractive and will age nicely. I want to have it and make some nice watch band out of it. Does any one know what kind of leather is that? and where could I source some? Thanks in advance for your suggestion! :D Quote
Moderator Art Posted May 12, 2010 Moderator Report Posted May 12, 2010 Hi D, W&C is supplying a lot of veg tan to LV, call Matt and ask. Art I'm wondering what kind of leather LV use for their strap. Members Kevin Posted December 20, 2010 Members Report Posted December 20, 2010 I hate to say it, but the strap in the picture looks counterfeit to me. Kevin Quote
Members FatSmitty Posted December 24, 2010 Members Report Posted December 24, 2010 The edgeing looks to light to me as well-could be a Screwy Louis. Quote
