Members chainftw Posted May 27, 2010 Members Report Posted May 27, 2010 I hate most people . Yeah I know thats harsh but I'll say it to your face not behind your back. I have met many so called self proclaimed PRO Leather workers here in Santa Fe and I'm sick of hearing the crap most have to say . I don't like every piece I see but I wont say I do then talk crap . I don't care what people think of my stuff just say it to my face . I don't need to hear How good they are and how bad this guy is . I don't talk crap to people about people and then act like a friend to them like most I'v seen . If you have stolen someone's tools your a scum bag and don't talk to me, If someone took something of mine, I wont bitch about it to everyone, I'll stomp the fu@#er! I don't do projects I don't like cuz if I don't like the design I cant get into it , I don't need to do stuff I don't like to make me a Better leather crafter. I'm in no means rich but I do what I do cuz I like to do it ! I know I have a lot to learn and want to , but I'll stay where I'm at if I got to listen to some idiot who's to good to make cuffs or belts but hasn't done leather work in a few years , teach me something . So this seat is for all the FULL OF THEM SELF'S -SELF PROCLAIMED PRO LEATHER CRAFTERS . I know this isn't the rite venue to voice this but I can't help it. So If your not reading this and it gets deleted it's ok... I just needed to VENT . Chain Quote
Hilly Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 I can tell you really liked doing this seat. You worked your fingers to the bone! Nice job, by the way. And the only thing I'm self proclaimed at is screwing up perfectly good leather! Quote

Moderator Johanna Posted May 27, 2010 Moderator Report Posted May 27, 2010 Chain- one thing I like about you is that you're an honest man. No BS with you. You call it like you see it, and aren't afraid to speak your piece. I also like the way you can back up what you say with mighty fine leatherwork. Good job on the bones. That's tricky, but you pulled it off. And this is a family forum...blah blah...we don't swear or stick our middle fingers up, etc. However, this thread is posted in the biker section, not "Show Off", so I'm going to assume no bikers are going to freak about this post because most of them have seen and heard more than that....by the time they are twelve. *sigh. If anyone reading this post objects strongly, click the report button and I'll move the post. Otherwise, I'm leaving it because everyone here has had a similar vent, and when we read yours we all nodded and said, "Yep!" Your work just keeps getting better, Chain. Don't let anyone tell you how to do your thing. You're doing fine without their input. ~J Quote
