K-Man Report post Posted June 26, 2010 I've had the opportunity to use both the 7-ton and 15-ton. I would rate the 7-ton as a 4: struggled to cut through 6/7 oz leather. Easier to move around than the 15-ton. I would rate the 15-ton as a 9: has cut through anything I've put under it. Very difficult to move around - ended up using an engine lift on each occasion. yeringtonmike Report post Posted June 26, 2010 If you are talking about the small portable, I've tried it and it is limited. If you are looking for a portable clicker, and don't need a clicker to turn out a high volume of items aday, I built the clicker that Texas die sells. She told me how to make it and it works great. It cost me about $200 to make and I can cut through any leather out there. I use it daily. Mike
