Loopless Slip Heeling Lead For My Dog

I dont find the traditional dog lead to be comfortable in my hand, so i have made this slip style heeling lead without the loop. I will use this lead for obedience training and agility.

What is the length of it?

thanks fletch , it is quite short... 1 metre but as it is for heeling work, i didnt want extra leather hanging down. With the dog on the left, and holding it in my left hand, it is just right.!!
