bitone40 Report post Posted July 2, 2010 Those look nice, is that v'roon on the arrow sheath if so that came out nice, I have been wanting to try some sheaths but just don't have the time right now for them, I do have question though do you guys use anything to protect the thread from the blade when removing and inserting, the reason I ask is because a bunch of years ago I bought a leather sheath for a Buck and in just a few instertions and.removals, it was starting to cut the threads and the thing fell apart after that, I'm just curious to see if there is any protection to that, thanks for the help and great looking sheaths Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have to say that I've had much better luck with vinegaroon. I don't think the Pro Oil Dye likes my horsehide because it's the only dye I have that has come out blotchy.
