Doug Mclean Report post Posted January 12, 2008 (edited) This is an older Union Lockstitch machine on a home made iron stand. Designed for saddle work. It is tall so you can stand up to the machine and sew. Would sell this machine or trade for other items. Let me know if you are interested. I used this machine when I was in the saddle business years ago to make saddles and strap goods. I am only part time now and have replaced it with newer Adler. I would sell for 750.00 or trade for something of equal value. Edited January 12, 2008 by DougMcleanSaddles

mattsh Report post Posted February 10, 2008 Doug.....I am new here and not familiar with all of the machines, but I wondered is this machine of the needle and awl type? From what I understand from other leather craftsmen this is the type that is most used for holster work. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Doug Mclean Report post Posted February 11, 2008 The machine is a needle and awl machine. As for its use in the holster trade someone else will have to help us on that one. I have sold the machine here locally, just today. Thank You for your interest anyway. DMcLean
